IS it Stressful?

Stress, wow, some of my friends are still at the stage where they get stressed out over housework, grocery shopping and the pile of laundry.  Me?  I am so very over that.  Of course having my wonderful Mother-In-Law here for over a month helped tremendously.  Between she, her brother Jack and some work out of the Watson young men things have shaped up around here.  The housework, dishes, grocery shopping and the never ending laundry pile...well they are there, always waiting.  BUT they are not going to get in the way of LIVING.  When I am gone I certainly don't want to be remembered for how clean my house was!!!!

To be honest, right now I am worried about some of the bigger issues in our lives (and too afraid to put these in writing)...but at the same time grateful for the way things have turned out so far.  So grateful, that I can't possibly see whining about the smaller stuff, or even praying for much more because God has already answered so many of our prayers.  I feel like I should be not ask for too much, especially when we have been blessed with such great friends and family members!  For now, I am willing to take things day by day and face each day with determination.  Get the most out of every day and be happy that we are still here alive and getting better!   Spending yesterday morning with the boys, at Pearland Crossfit, cheering on each other and our friends...that is something priceless and I don't want to miss more times like these.

David really can't conceive or understand how close we were to losing him.  His entire stay in Hermann Memorial is a blur, a haze, a dream.  Not really a dream.  He says that it is very hazy.  So, as he continues to put his energy into recovering, it is difficult for him to really know how far he has come.  I know at times he gets very discouraged because he can't do everything he used to do.  But at the same time I KNOW what it was like 2 months ago.  It was scary, it was worrisome and yes I was probably a little more stressed out!

SIDE NOTE for this morning....
Breakfast at Kelleys (always a favorite of ours)...Thanks to Debby and Virgil Gant for picking up the tab :-).  What a wonderful way to start the day, seeing great friends and then heading to church and seeing more friends!
