Greetings to all our friends and family, after all that we have been through I am not going to distinguish between colleagues, fellow volunteers, co-workers...those distinctions aren't important.  We consider everyone to be our FRIENDs- because of how much love, respect, and charity they have shown us!  I can't even name everDavid and a beautiful Michael Slattery Painting!yone who has been there for us!  The list has grown so OVERWHELMING!  What I do know for sure is that we can feel the love, the prayers and all the good energy sent our way!

G-Peg goes tomorrow morning at 8:30AM (0830 hour).  We are so relieved to get rid of that portal!  IT was necessary to sustain David while he couldn't swallow...but now...well, we are ready for it to GO!

HOME- looks like 9-12-2011 is the DAY to go home!!! YEAH!!

I went to workout at Pearland Crossfit.  While I was gone David had a family visit.  He had a tear in his eye he was so touched!  Michael, Lisa and Ryan Slattery came by and brought David this awesome painting (one of many of Michael's works that we have admired).  He remembered how much David loved the painting (we are avid supporters of the Pearland Arts League events) , and how it reminded David of his childhood living and working on the farm.  When David was a teen he could jump up on one of those kind of bales!  He immediately wanted me to take this photo so that we could post it on Facebook!  Ryan is a Cub Scout with Pack 414!  Last year Lisa, Ryan and the rest of their den picked up cigarette butts outside the Pearland Public Safety Building... We love how committed this family is to our community AND We love the art and scouting connection!

BTW .... next Corks and Canvas event is this Saturday Evening 5-7 upstairs of the Pearland Natatorium!  Maybe we will see you there!
